Frequently Asked Questions

In brief

The concept

Armada Club is a private members’ club onboard superyachts. Members use a curated fleet as private venues for dining, business and wellness, without owning or chartering a yacht.

No. Yachts are hosted at berth or at anchor as private venues for a few hours or an evening. Armada is neither a charter nor a brokerage company.

Private breakfasts and working lunches, chef’s tables, board meetings, client entertaining and wellness sessions, each arranged end to end by the Armada concierge.

Membership is by invitation or referral, subject to board approval and KYC checks.

There is no public member list and no yacht is publicly identified. Every crew member hosting an Armada experience is bound by confidentiality.

In their words

What the industry says

“Making yachting more accessible and easier to experience is a positive step. At YATCO, we share the view that once people experience being on the water with family or friends, it often becomes something they want to return to again and again. As technology evolves, verification and trusted partnerships become even more important. Armada Club is a great thing for the industry and its clients.”
Steven MyersFounder and CEO, YATCO
“This is a win for the owner, the crew and, of course, the fortunate members.”
Graeme LordFounder, PYC Cayman and Fairport Yacht Support
“From a crew perspective, as a captain, this is also a good way to improve service and train greener crew without the pressure of delivering a full week charter from day one. Extra revenue for the crew and yacht.”
Captain Alistair BestSuperyacht captain
“Anything that creates more revenue and opens up opportunities for people to experience yachting in the right way is a positive move. Dinner on board is a truly magical experience. As an industry, we need to make it easier to book these moments, while still preserving the privacy of the yacht.”
The owner of Champagne Seas50m Trinity Yachts
“I see this scheme as a purely positive development for the industry. It’s a positive step that will introduce new prospects to the yachting lifestyle and cultivate the next generation of owners and charterers.”
Jan-Jaap MinnemaSenior Sales Broker, Fraser Yachts
“As an owner, this is a strong new revenue opportunity and a great source of lead generation for other parts of the business, such as longer charters. The complimentary membership is equally appealing, it gives me the freedom to dine on other yachts. The vetting process is key, it means we can feel confident in the community.”
Armin DresslerOwner, MY Imladris
“The considerable interest expressed by my clients in our preliminary discussions is a testament to the strength of this endeavour.”
Denis SukaYachting influencer, 1.5 million followers
“I have spent my whole career around some of the most recognised people in the world, and privacy is a real need. For many, going out for a meal is not an option. This club gives them spaces with the right service and clear expectations, using an underused asset in places they are often in.”
Jonny HarrisCo-founder, Armada Club
“These yachts are sitting in port, fully crewed and equipped, and the people who most need a private, controlled environment have no way to access them. No comparable model exists in this industry. That is the opportunity.”
Claire HagenFounder, Armada Club
